Roadstar Caravans is premium family owned company who build a premium product. After scouring the market for high end 4x4 caravans, the Roadstar Little Rippa Extreme MK2 was the one. I selected Roadstar because they were flexible to customise the design for my requirements. Ie, reposition the axle (with cruisemaster airbag suspension) to accomodate the weight of e-bikes mounted on the A Frame. Further, their technique to manufacture sandwich fibreglass panels including the floor using their proven high strength joining process was important. Their pride in the product with wonderful after sales care has been an excellent experience. Now, just be prepared that good things come to those who wait. I did some extra tenting and the wait was worth it. Loving the van and the custom build has perfectly suited how I like to explore our wonderful country. When you get yours, you won’t look back :)

We are planning the big lap and needed a van that was big enough to have the essentials and tough enough to go off the tar and explore the great outdoors. We looked at a LOT of vans, most ticked some boxes, only one ticked all the boxes - the Roadstar Safari Tamer. From the moment I stepped into the Safari Tamer I had to have it. Tonka tough with 5 star luxury interior. Can you spend a week inside your van in the rain? - I know I can quite happily without getting cabin fever. We have taken our ST down a chicken track and it didn't even flinch. Nothing moved in the cupboards either, a testament to the quality of the build. Would I recommend Roadstar as a manufacturer? - you bet your bottom dollar I would. They are open, communicate well, and deliver a quality product on time and with no hidden costs.
Buy a Roadstar you will not be sorry. We look forward to many happy years travelling in ours.

We purchased our van, Roadstar Voyager Avalon 2000, at the 1999 caravan show in Melbourne. While it is now 17 years old we just love it. It is spacious and has walking room for my husband and myself. We can both move around at the same time. It has ample cupboards, draws and general storage space. We had removable shelves put in the wardrobes for convenience. I did a tally today and we have towed our van 104,796 Ks so far. We have had no problems what so ever. Because of the wheels being situated towards the back of the van it sits behind our car/s like a brick. It has a good weight and sits the road well. The suspension is by far, superior to all other vans we’ve looked at. This van has been around Australia a few times and there are not many places it hasn’t been. We can’t speak highly enough of our Roadstar Van.

Tows like a dream with the Alko beam axle rocker suspension, which feels safe & solid on the road. Everything I need & want in this 'van and nothing I don't.

We did so much research into our “forever retirement" van before deciding on a Roadstar. We have caravaned for over 20 years, owning 3 different vans so knew we really wanted a well built Aussie made van that ticked all the boxes.
So pleased with our choice of a 21’ GT Sport CC MK 2. We took it to have a cowfish set up installed by a local caravan repair man who commented on the quality, and then a truck/caravan wheel alignment company who stated it was the best van underneath he had worked on, along with the fact it really didn’t need aligning! Must add it is amazing to tow. Cannot stop pinching myself on how lucky we are to have made the best decision..

Got my van in May this year and after getting it home got the check list completed and set out on my shakedown cruise to longreach and back home in Goulburn. Packing and stacking, finding places to put things and more importantly working ou how to use it. Towed like a dream had lots of admirers and met up with other roadstar owners. Being a first time caravaner, the best.
love the new mobile home it is the best thing I’ve brought since retiring. I had heaps of support from Peter and Michael who always kept me up to date throughout the build. Peter and Michael’s frustrations with COVID, lockdowns and lack of parts I picked it up five months late. Support from Jody, Ken keeping in contact for last minute changes (colours, bench tops and upholstery) was outstanding. Better not forget the fella who did the handover, Ged Cleary, who I had to contact while on the road to answer a question, onya mate.
